The police in Ghana have arrested Akuapem Poloo, a controversial Ghanaian actress and video vixen, whose nude photo with her seven-year-old son sparked outrage on the internet.
Poloo, who had earlier posted an apology video for her inglorious act was arrested after Child Rights International petitioned the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana to investigate her over the birthday photo with her son after it went viral on the internet sparking widespread condemnation.
In a photoshoot to celebrate the son’s birthday, the actress went completely naked in front of the 7-year-old, saying she decided to go naked in front of her son who was only in his underwear because she gave birth to him naked.
She was picked up by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit around the Ministries in Accra.
