Journalists for Sustainable Development in Nigeria (JSDN) was established by a group of journalists led by Parry Saroh Benson as its Executive Director, with the mission to use the instrument of Mass Media to promote development journalism that would in turn sustain growth, good governance in Africa through public enlightenment programme and upholding democratic values in other nations of the world. .
To promote development journalism with a focus on fostering sustainable development and democratic stability through public enlightenment campaigns and round table discussions.
We shall achieve this vision through the use of various media platforms available such as the internet: tweeter, facebook; newspapers and magazines, public lectures, awareness campaigns, research based projects, tracking of political developments, monitoring and observation of political events etc. The following are the various issues discussed at our public lectures over the years and programmes organized by this group. .
