Rivers residents lament incessant road accident

Residents of Rivers state have expressed deep concern over the incessant automobile accidents on the roads of the state as a result of reckless driving.

The latest alarm of accident caused by reckless driving in Port Harcourt, Capital City of Oil rich River state was raised on Saturday when four vehicles moving from the same direction collided at the Port Harcourt-Aba Express road by 1st Artillery junction.

Cross section of residents who spoke with The Port Harcourt Spectator called on the Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC in collaboration with the National Union of Road Traffic Workers NURTW, to adequately scrutinize and stop inexperienced drivers from plying major roads of the city.
