Rivers people will never regret voting me says Governor Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that the people of the state will never regret giving him their mandate as he will fulfill all his campaign promises.

Speaking  at the commissioning  of  the  Rumukurusi-Eneka-Igwuruta road on Thursday,  Governor  Wike  said  that  he is determined  to  make a difference  in  the  lives of  the  people.

He reiterated that  his administration  will  complete  all key projects  abandoned  by the  immediate past administration especially  those that will impact positively  on  the  lives of the people.

The governor said; “We will never disappoint the  people  of  the  state. You will not regret  giving  us your  mandate.

“We don’t care who awarded the project. Our concern is to execute projects that will impact positively on the community “.

He commended the people  of  the  three communities of Rumukurusi-Eneka-Igwuruta for cooperating with the contractor  to  deliver the  project  on schedule.

Rivers State Commissioner for Works, Mr Bethel Iheanyichukwu said the road was abandoned  in a deplorable  condition  by the immediate past administration.

He said  the  completion  of  the  road has revived  the  economy  of the three communities  and created access to  the  Port Harcourt International Airport.
