NPFL Match Day 22: Enyimba, Rangers stumble, Rivers United, Wikki stay top

Rivers United and Wikki Tourists are still top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), after Match Day 22 fixtures.

The Bauchi based club, Wikki held hosts Heartland to a goalless draw in Owerri on Sunday.

They now have 38 points from 21 matches, same as Rivers United who hammered MFM FC 4-1 in Port Harcourt.

Enyimba and Rangers slipped in the title race, as they both lost away.

Plateau United defeated Rangers 2-0, while Enyimba lost 1-0 at Shooting Stars.

In other matches, Kano Pillars drew 2-2 with Warri Wolves in Kano, Akwa United held hosts Ikorodu United to a 1-1 draw, Sunshine Stars pipped Lobi Stars 1-0 and Nasarawa United defeated IfeanyiUbah FC 4-2.
