Fed Cup: Pillars, Tornadoes crash out

Kano Pillars and Niger Tornadoes have been sent out of the Federation Cup as Prime FC beat former NPFL champions Pillars 2-1 on Wednesday, to advance to the round of 16.

Crown FC, a league one side also defeated Tornadoes 5-4 on penalties, after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time.

Results of other matches played on Wednesday had Sunshine Stars defeating Abia Comets 4-2 on penalties, Nasarawa United eliminated Go Round FC 1-0, Rivers United hammered Kaduna United 4-0 and Shooting Stars beat Almar FC 3-0.
