Bournemouth have completed the transfer of Nigerian Jordon Ibe from Liverpool for a club-record fee of £15million.
The forward, has formalized of his move to the club and will now join them for their pre-season training camp in the US according to reports.
Ibe, who has been capped four times for England’s U-21, signed a new five-year deal at Anfield last May, but the striker had found it hard to get a regular starting place under Jurgen Klopp.
Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake was quoted as saying, “We’re delighted to bring Jordon to the football club.
“He played plenty of football with Liverpool last season and we’re looking forward to seeing him to continue to grow now with us, he’s a huge prospect.
“We’ve now signed five players this summer, all of whom have an abundance of potential.
“It shows that we’re serious about nurturing talent at this football club and we have the long term in mind when we say we want to stay in the Premier League.”
