Reports say unknown gunmen has abducted a catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Paul Irikefe, in Delta State.
Father Irikefe, we gathred arrived the state on Monday to attend the burial rites of his friend and colleague, Rev. Fr. Amaefule Chike.
He was whisked away to an unknown location by the gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Delta state-born priest is said to be a lecturer with Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Major Seminary in Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The police in the state are yet to react to the kidnap at the moment.
