Ranking of world most powerful passports revealed, Nigeria ranks 92nd (full list)

Ever wondered how powerful the passport you carry is? It is no longer hard to imagine as the latest list of passports ranking is out.

One of world’s power house, Germany tops the list. Holders of its passport can visit 177 countries without a visa.

The United States passport can provide access to 174 countries, while British travellers can currently visit 175 countries without a visa.

With a maximum attainable score of 218, the visa restriction index by Henley & Partners, a citizenship and planning firm, ranks nations or territories based on the number of countries their citizens can travel to visa-free.

In 2015, Nigeria had visa-free access to 61 countries and was 57th position in the world ranking.

The country has, however, dropped to 92nd in the world ranking and has visa-free access to just 45 countries.
