Nigeria will have no peace until Biafra is granted independence – MASSOB

The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), has warned that the current challenges facing Nigeria will persist until Biafra is declared an independent state.

The Owerri Zonal Leader of the movement, Chief Canice Anujuru, issued the warning in Imo State, during a press conference to mark the 17th anniversary of MASSOB.

According to Anujuru, “The current suffering faced by Nigerians is because the Nigerian government has refused to support the freedom of Biafran people. The current economic recession has divine connotation.

“Until Biafran people are granted freedom, things will continue to go wrong in Nigeria.”
