BREAKING: Jibrin missing as Ethics Committee commences budget padding hearing

The House of Representatives Committee on Ethics and Privileges on Friday  commenced its investigative hearing into the allegations levelled against the former Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, Abdulmumin Jibrin.

The Chairman of the Committee, Nicholas Ossai, is presiding over the session, but Jibrin is not present at the hearing at the moment.

This comes barely 48 hours after the House mandated the Ethics  committee to probe allegations of misconduct against the former Appropriations Committee chairman.

Recall that earlier Jibrin has given some reasons why he may not honour the hearing.

Details later…
