Two new Senators take oath of office

Former Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Isaac Alfa has been sworn-in as Senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), also sworn-in the newly elected Senator representing Imo North, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu under the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday’s plenary.

The newly Senators who won their rerun elections pledged allegiance to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the bill for Federal Capital Territory Transport Authority and bill for Chartered Institute of Loan.

On Tuesday the Risk Management of Nigeria passed first reading are: the bills for National Child Protection and Enforcement Agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act and Dishonoured Cheques Offences Act.
