The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has declared that he loves Jesus even as a Muslim.

He made this declaration via his official Instagram page @SanusiLamidoSanusi on Thursday.

He said: “Many people are unaware of the fact that one cannot be a Muslim without loving Jesus (Peace be upon him) known in Arabic as Isa (Alayhis Salam).”

“We further urge the international community to continue to support our government’s effort to rescue all other abducted Nigerians, so that parents, the Chibok community, the nation, and the world can finally put an end to this nightmare once and for all,” the statement added.
