The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State mourned one of their chieftain, Late Comr. Franklin Obi, who was laid to rest on Saturday alongside his wife and son.
The chieftain was murdered on March 2016, included his wife and son by yet to be identified assassins.
Late Comr. Franklin Obi was a chairman of Ward 4 in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA of Rivers State.
The chieftain was gruesomely murdered alongside his wife Iheoma Obi and their 18-year-old son, Bestman.
The gunmen who stormed the politician’s residence at about 9pm were said to have beheaded him before killing members of his family.
