Anambra Polls:‎ Ohanaeze sets up monitoring committee

Anambra State chapter of Ohanaeze Youth Council has constituted a committee to monitor the processes of the Anambra governorship election to ensure that it is free and fair.

The group said the committee would evaluate the contestants and make recommendation on which of them was a more credible choice for the youths of the state.

Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu who addressed journalists during the inauguration of the committee charged the members  to eschew selfishness and work towards the emergence of a youth friendly governor.

He announced that Hon. Chinemerem Oguegbe, the National Coordinator of Anambra New Generation Vanguard would chair the group, while six other members of the group would work with him.

Oguegbe in his acceptance speech charged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, security agencies to ensure that the poll was credible, while also urging politicians to play by the rule of the game.
