Lacazette tested for drugs after match-winning brace against West Brom

Arsenal forward, Alexandre Lacazette has posted a picture on social media, revealing that he was tested for drugs, after he scored a brace for Arsenal against West Brom on Monday night.

The French attacker opened scoring in the first-half, before adding a second from the penalty spot after the break.

His double continued Arsenal’s fine form this term and the former Lyon man was selected for a post-match drugs test.

A number of players are selected at random at full-time, but Lacazette joked his inclusion was down to his impressive night in front of goal.

Speaking after the game at the Emirates, manager Arsene Wenger said: “I believe that he is getting stronger in every game.

“He is young and just arrived in England. The physical demands are very high.

“Technically, he is intelligent and you can see on the free-kick, he was there for the rebound like all good strikers are.”
