Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation and former governor of Rivers state, said people of the state will show red card to the current governor of the state, Nyesom Wike comes 2019.
The Minister maintained this while responding to a Twitter user, Morgan Ikhile, who demanded that Wike be voted out.
Ikhile asked Amaechi to use one hand to fight Wike and the other to execute projects.
The Twitter user wrote, “2018 na election year, so you will use one hand to fight Wike and the other to execute projects.l am laughing in Swahili…quakakukaku.”
Responding, the Minister said: “Me, fight Wike? No…At the appropriate time Rivers people will show him red card,” he tweeted.
In his response to another user who asked him to “make peace with Wike for the sake of Rivers”, Amaechi said: “No problem with Wike. My problem is with maladministration, incompetence, lack of vision etc”.
