Fani-Kayode faults DSS report on killings in Nigeria

A former Minister for Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  has reacted to a report by the Department of State Security, DSS, claiming that the Islamic State In West Africa was responsible for attacks in Benue and other states.

He described the report as false.

His reaction was contained in a tweet.

Fani-Kayode insisted that Fulani herdsmen and Miyetti Allah were responsible for what he described as “genocide and ethnic cleansing in Nigeria”.

He also faulted JNI statement that CAN is using Fulani herdsmen to cause crisis in Nigeria.

He said:“The Jama’atu Nasir Islam (JNI) says the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is using Fulani herdsmen to destabilise Nigeria in order to achieve “their agenda”.

“I have never heard such garrolous, mendacious and incredulous bunkum before in my entire life. Grow up!

“Through leaked intelligence reports the DSS claims that a group they describe as ISWA (Islamic State In West Africa) is responsible for the genocide and ethnic cleansing going on in our country today.

“This is false. Those behind it are the Fulani terrorists and Miyetti Allah.”
