Gandujiyya vs Kwankwasiyya: No reconcilliation – Ganduje

The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has said there will be no peace between his political pressure group, Gandujiyya and Kwankwasiyya, a political group owned by Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.

It will be recalled that no fewer than six members of the Kwankwasiyya and Gandujiyya groups of the All Progressives Congress were on Sunday injured in Kano following a clash between the two groups.

According to Punch while quoting Ganduje said, “Members of Kwankwasiyya have been going round with rumors that if we did not reconcile with them, we will not win election in Kano. This kind of rumor is always confusing me. This is just a mere tale, this is a joke and it also lie.

“I want state categorically that there will be no reconciliation between Gandujiyya and Kwankwasiyya forever. How can we reconcile with these people? In fact, on what bases are we going to reconcile?

“These people are Abuja based members of APC. In fact, they are not members of APC because Kwankwasiyya is not a political party. So, if we reconcile with them what can we do with the red caps. Are you expecting me to direct you to wear red caps again though I am also about to remove my own?”.
