Herdsmen killings: 24 corpses arrive Benue community for burial

Atleast 24 corpses have arrived St. Bernard open field, Okpoga, the headquarters of Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State for mass funeral.

It will be  recalled that no fewer than 24 people were penultimate week murdered by suspected herdsmen who attacked Omosu village in Edumoga community of Okpokpwu Local Government Area of the state.

Also, the state had last week canceled a mass burial for the victim after the Idoma community protested against it, saying it was against  their culture.

After the Mass funeral, the corpses we gathered would each be carried to their respective families for final burial rites.
