Fayose raises alarm over police invasion of govt house

With barely a  few days to the governorship election in Ekiti State, security operatives, Wednesday, reportedly blocked the state government house.

Gunshots were also heard in Ado-Ekiti, a situation that created tension among residents of the area who scampered for safety.

The incident was confirmed by the State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

In a series of tweets, Fayose wrote: “Heavy shooting now going on in front of Ekiti Govt house by armed policemen brought by the APC.

“This is the entrance to Ekiti Govt House now blocked by gun-wielding mobile policemen.

“The plan is to prevent our victory walk slated for today, but we will remain undeterred.

“Power of God and the people will prevail over Federal Power.”

We also learnt that the PDP was billed to have a victory walk today in the state.
