UPTH CMD calls for improved service

The Chief Medical Director, CMD of University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, Prof. Henry Ugboma has charged doctors, nurses and other staffers  of the hospital to give patients the best treatment and to be sensitive when handling patients and other visitors to the hospital.

Ugboma stated this during the 2019 Dedication Service of the hospital in Port Harcourt.

He said the hospital management held the prayer session to appreciate and worship God for improved healthcare delivery in the hospital and to rededicate the hospital to God Almighty.

The CMD further said that the patients deserve the best from them and warned that the hospital management will not hesitate to sanction any staffer caught referring patients outside the hospital on services that can be provided in the hospital.
