Actor ‘Mr Ibu’ debunks stroke rumour

Popular comic actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu who is said to be down with stroke has come out to debunk the report.

 The actor in a chat with journalists said that he is fine, stressing that he is not suffering from any form of sickness or ailment.

He said, “Na so I hear oooo. I am hale and hearty. I am speaking from my house, in Lekki.

“I have been receiving calls from across the world since today. I don’t know who is spreading this false news about me. I don’t know what they saying.

“Na their papa get stroke.”

The President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Mr. Emeka Rollas was earlier quoted as saying that the popular comic actor was hit by a mysterious stroke shortly after he returned from his recent trip to Owerri.

Rollas was quoted as saying “I am aware that Mr Ibu is truly down with stroke, but he is fast recovering and need more of our prayers right now.”
