Rivers: Four beheaded in Rumuji

Four persons were reportedly beheaded in Ovogo/Rumuji communities in Odegu clan, Emohua Local Government Area  of Rivers State Wednesday morning.

Although, the true identity of the victims and those involved in the attack could not be ascertain at the time of this report, community sources say it might not be unconnected with the rival cult war ravaging the area.

Rivers state of recent have been in the news for the several case of killings occasioned by supremacy battle between rival cult groups in the state.

The latest killing is coming barely one week after the state governor, Nyesom Wike vowed to wipe out all cult related activities in the state.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Police Command is yet to comment on the latest killing as it was yet to respond to inquiries by our correspondent at the time of this report.
