Rivers police arrest herdsman for abduction, killing of former guber aspirant

Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have arrested a suspected notorious kidnapper with connections to the abduction and killing of an ex-Rivers gubernatorial aspirant, Barr. Soalabo West.
West’s bullets-ridden body was discovered in a bush along Eneka-Igbo Etche Road on Wednesday night two weeks after he was abducted in his farm in Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area.
Friends and family poured tributes to the deceased lawyer as the shocking news of his death became public.
The suspect identified as Adamu Musa, from Adamawa State was arrested by personnel of the Anti-Kidnap Unit of the State Police Command.
He reportedly led the police to where the victim’s body was recovered and has given useful information about members of his gang still at large.
