King Deebom in a statement by his Media Director,  Chief Magnus Edooh described the two Ken- Khana sons as persons whose track records clearly defines them as refined  transformative agents of positive change.

While further felicitating with them on their appointment, he opined that  the traditional institution had been neglected in the scheme of things  over the years by the outgone board in matters relating to the clean-up of Ogoni polluted communities.

He  said that traditional institution will ensure that the remediation work in Ogoni becomes a reality through these competent patriotic Ogoni indigenes on the board.

The King said, “ the dreams of our heroes should not be turned into politics, rather, the degradation of our polluted land needs to be restored”.

“We need periodic and cogent information about the remediation work and restoration of livelihood of the people of Ken-Khana kingdom and Ogoni at large”

“Together we can make Ogoni great, the choices of our leaders will continue to affect both the elites, indigent and downtrodden”

Our collective struggle lays  in our hands as ogonis,

“Let it go down in history, that in our era Ogoni impacted  communities were restored with green vegetation and aquatic lives”

He urged the Ogonis to rally round the newly inaugurated board members and assist them to succeed.
