… Orders ESN operatives into Rivers community after herders’ attack
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has ordered the Eastern Security Network into Rivers Community following alleged Fulani herdsmen attack on farmers.
The exiled IPOB leader posted a video of women with placards, calling for the end to herders attack on their farm.
It was gathered that the incident occurred in the Agbonchia area of Eleme local government area of Rivers State.
However, inquiries by this medium could not confirm whether such protest took place.
It was claimed that the attack by Fulani herdsmen had been going on for days in the community resulting in the deaths of residents of the community.
It was also, reported that as youths from the community were organising to retaliate, soldiers from six division of the Nigerian Army, stormed the community to maintain peace.
Kanu said that: “In response to the cries and yearnings of our terrified mothers in Eleme Igweocha (Rivers State), I have this evening instructed the High Command of Eastern Security Network #ESN to move into the area forthwith & to rid the farms of #Fulani terror herdsmen. @GovWike is a joke!”
