Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma has dissolved the State Executive Council.
The dissolution was announced in a statement on Wednesday by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.
He stated that out of the 28 commissioners, only 8 commissioners were left to proceed with their activities.
They include: Commissioners for Information, Women Affairs, Works, Finance, Youths and Sports, Technology, Health and Tourism.
Emelumba added that the decision is in line with the Governor’s plans to reorganize the activities of the state government after a year in office.
