Rivers: Khana council boss gives approval for key developmental projects

Chairman of Khana local government area of Rivers State, Dr.Thomas Bariere has approved some key projects for immediate execution by the council.

The approval was made in a meeting of the F&GPC with key administrative staff of the council. It was resolved that it is imperative to embark on key developmental projects that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people.

In that regard, the council made the following approvals; conversion of the Bori fire station to Khana centre for information and communication technology, remodeling of the Khana local government industrial training unit, construction of community primary school III Baen as well as initiation of the process for the construction of Bori main market.

The administrative staff led by the treasurer of the LGA Mr. Zoryii Nwiemayie agreed to give full support to the accepted initiatives.

They also agreed that the council undertakes the steps in developing critical infrastructure to better the lives of Khana people.
