Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUOE, Rivers State has promoted three lecturers to the rank of professors.
The school also promoted one to the rank of reader.
This was contained in a statement by the registrar of the school, Mrs K. H. Kue-Ikoro
Kue-Ikoro said the promotion was approved by the eleventh Governing Council of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education at its meeting which held last Friday.
The newly promoted academic staff and the ranks of professor are Dr. Adokiye A. Okujagu, Dr. Eunice Victor-Ishikaku and Dr. Isaac Ogundu.
Dr. Helen Ngozi Lawrence Nwankwoala was promoted to the rank of a reader.
The statement further congratulated the newly promoted academic staff for their achievements and hoped that the university would benefit from their new academic heights.
