The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has directed that Rivers United Football Club has directed the club should now be under the Office of the Governor.
This was contained in a statement by Kevin Ebiri, Special Assistant on Media to the Governor.
The statement directed the Commissioner of Sport to immediately submit every file relating to the club to the Government House, Port Harcourt.
