A truck has reportedly crushed a middle-aged woman to death at Choba junction close to the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
The incident occurred early Friday morning.
Eyewitnesses said that the truck failed brake and unfortunately hit the victim, whose head was crushed under the tires of the truck and dragged for a distance before hitting the side walls of Agofure Park beside Kilimanjaro Fast Foods in the area.
The truck driver was reportedly apprehended by pedestrians and handed over to the police.
The police are yet to give more details into the incident at the time of this report.
