Goods worth millions of naira destroyed as fire guts shops in Port Harcourt

Early morning fire Monday, destroyed  goods worth millions of naira as some shops located around Chinda Bus Stop in Mile 4 area of Diobu Port Harcourt were razed down.

The fire was said to have been triggered by an electric fault in one of the affected shops.

A source said the fire started by 3:00 am and lasted for about one hour and very little help could be mobilised to save the affected goods.

PHSpectator recalls that this is the second time this year that shops around that area would be gutted by fire.
