Suspected homosexual caught harassing minors in Port Harcourt

Residents of Sanitary Lane in Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt, have apprehended a 27-year-old man reportedly harassing three male minors in the neighbourhood.

The suspect is alleged to have been caught kissing and inappropriately touching the kids said to be aged 6, 9 and 11 years respectively.

According to a source, the kids had also accused him of instructing them to touch his groin.

It was reported that the man, who claims to be a native of Ekpeye in Ahoada East Local Government Area was handed over to officers of the Azikiwe Police Divisional Headquarters at Illabouchi, Mile 2, Diobu where he is being detained.

Meanwhile, the Centre For Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has called on the police authority to ensure thorough investigation into the alleged sexual harassment of the three male children.

Gladys Onyenmwen head of teens of Centre For Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign in a statement  demanded a thorough investigation into the incident with a view to serving justice to parties involved

Onyenmwen stated that the investigation should be without bias and sentiment.
