Eleme students in various tertiary institutions across the nation are set to receive bursary as the Chairman of Eleme LGA in Rivers State, Obarilomate Ollor has inaugurated a 13 man Committee to carryout the process.
Inaugurating the committee, Ollor charged them to exercise all level of sincerity, transparency and thoroughness in the process.
“I know the calibre of persons we have chosen and I believe you will definitely carryout a thorough process, we have to meet the yearnings of our people.
“Ensure you carryout a proper verification, make sure they belong to a particular tertiary institution, have a National Identity Number (NIN), have a voters card because our students must learn to partake in the selection process of who govern them, you can’t allow miscreants to take over authority because they will misdirect you”, he maintained.
He urged the committee members to expedite action and ensure they carry out the exercise between now and the month of July so that payment can commence.
Members of the Committee includes; Peter Chutte – Chairman, Mr. Dickson Dibiah – Vice Chairman, Mr. Jeremiah Obele – Secretary amongst others.
