Wike to reconstitute cabinet, as Assembly confirms three nominees

River State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike is set to reconstitute a new cabinet barely three weeks after he dissolved the former.

This followed the forwarding by the governor of three names to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners’ designate.

The three names forwarded include two members of the former cabinet, Dr Dax Alabo George-Kelly and Isaac Kamalu. Both men were gubernatorial aspirants in the just concluded PDP governorship primaries in the state.

The third nominee is the immediate past Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Professor Zacchaeus Adangor.

Meanwhile, the three nominees appeared before the State Assembly on Friday where they were screened and confirmed.
