Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has felicitated with former Rivers State Governor, Dr. Peter Odili, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
Abe, in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, said Dr. Odili, who was governor of the state from 1999 to 2007, is God-fearing, caring and patriotic Nigerian whose contribution to growth of Rivers state will be forever cherished.
He further described Dr. Odili as a man of vision with passion for the happiness and prosperity of Rivers people that has stood the test of time.
The Senator said: “Your Excellency, you have all these years proven to be a father, leader, a man of honour, God-fearing, caring and a patriotic Nigerian; your actions outside public office such as the establishment of the fast growing Pamo University of medical sciences is eloquent testimony of your Character and passion for the welfare of mankind.
“As you celebrate your 74th birthday today, it is my sincere prayer that you continue to enjoy God’s protection and angelic guidance as well as good health in all your endeavours.
