Banigo urges Bonny people to collect, safeguard their PVCs

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has urged the Bonny People to collect and safeguard their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs).

Banigo stated this during the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI) Sensitization/Mobilization Rally for the collection of PVCs by eligible citizens of the Local Government Area, in Bonny on Saturday 13th August, 2022.

Dr. Banigo who expressed delight with the massive turnout of the Bonny People for the sensitization rally informed them that their PVC was very import and must be protected.

According to the Deputy Governor, “This 2023 election is all about your PVC. There is no way other than your PVC, your vote must count and your vote is your voice, so hold it well and if you are yet to collect please do so now without delay and protect it as well. Thank you so much”

In his remarks the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State, Amaopusenibo Siminilaiyi Fubara said every PVC in the INEC Office in Bonny must be collected and kept safe by their owners.

“Ensure that you collect your PVC, not just collecting it, ensure that you secure and keep it, When the time comes it will give you what you want, I am here as one of you, there is no difference between Bonny and Opobo, continue to support GDI, and be rest assured that your interest is protected.” He quipped.

Also speaking the President General of GDI Chief Bright Amewhule expressed gratitude to the People of Bonny for their support and urged them to ensure that they collect PVCs that have their correct photographs and bio data in order not to be disenfranchised.
