Fubara extols Wike on doctoral awards, birthday

Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 election, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has extolled the sterling qualities of Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as he received two Doctorates (Honoris causa) in Law from Bishop Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo and the premier Rivers State University, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt respectively.

Sir Fubara noted that the honours were further confirmation of Gov. Wike’s visionary leadership that has brought unprecedented infrastructural transformation in the entire state.

According to him, “His Excellency, Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has demonstrated great leadership. It takes a man with passion and commitment to development to embark on the kinds of projects he has executed in our state. We are glad that he is being acknowledged all over; the presidency, the academia and globally, for leaving an enduring legacy of great accomplishments.”

“We are certain that when he leaves office, Rivers people will remain eternally grateful to him for restoring their pride of place in Nigeria”, the candidate stated.

He further congratulated Wike on his 55th birthday coming up on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, adding that it was not just ordinary for him to be receiving such an outpouring of honours and awards at this time but that it is occurring by divine arrangement.

He emphasised that Wike is truly leaving an impressive legacy in the history of Rivers State as his life has become the very epitome of integrity to humanity.

Fubara prayed that God will continue to strengthen and empower him to finish strong.

Recall that on Friday, December 9, 2022, Bishop Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State conferred the doctorate degree in Law {LL. D Honoris Causa) to Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike along with some other governors and on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the 34th Convocation ceremony of the Rivers State University, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt, he also received another doctorate (LL.D Honoris causa) in Law.
