OPM empowers 100 youths with digital skills

As part of his humanitarian services and human capacity development, General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM),  Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has trained one hundred youths of his church on digital skills.

The youths were trained in skills such  Information Management System, International standardization for organization (ISO), E-Archiving, Intranet/extranet, Cyber Security, video editing, Photography, Confidential secretary, Coding, Animations, Big Data/Metadata concepts amongst others.

They were trained by  Wealveth Hub For Administrative Advancement in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere said his love for God is the driving force that makes him want to touch humanity.

“The love of Christ is the driving force that makes me want to touch humanity always,” he said.

He said the courses learnt are sought-after courses and expressed the hope that the beneficiaries will make best use of it.

“The courses are good and can get them jobs and I will also make efforts to get them employed,” he stated.

He pointed out that youths are the future generation, hence the need to get them adequately empowered.

In her speech, the director of Wealveth Hub for Administrative Advancement, Loveth Ogedegbe said the students have been adequately trained and empowered to go and excel.

She urged them to be good ambassadors of the institute and go out to excel.

She particularly thanked the OPM GO for taking youths off the streets and giving them viable skills to survive with.

Ogedegbe called on the government and other well meaning individuals to support the effort of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere to ensure youths don’t roam the streets without meaningful sources of livelihoods.

In a goodwill message, Chief Nabil Saleh, Managing Director of M. Saleh Engineering Company thanked the OPM GO for believing in the future and urged the graduands to work hard and make best use of the training to better their lives.

The best graduating student, Miss Liberate Akujiobi Chinonso expressed excitement for the opportunity given to her and other youths to acquire the skills and thanked OPM for the zeal to empower youths.

She urged her fellow graduands to remain hardworking, promising that she would use the skills acquired for self development and advancement of humanity.
