…Demolishes assembly complex
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill of over to the State House of Assembly.
The governor made the presentation on Wednesday during a plenary consisting five members of the house loyal to him.
The presentation was done at a temporary assembly complex inside the Government House.
This is coming a few moments after the state government commenced the demolition of the State House of Assembly complex.
Recall that 27 members of the House who are loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike had dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the All Progressives Congress, APC on Monday.
The lawmakers were absent when the governor presented the budget on Wednesday.
Speaker of the assembly, Edison Ehie before the arrival of the governor had declared their seats vacant.
