Eze Upata congratulates Eze Wodo on appointment as new chairman of Rivers Traditional Rulers Council

The Eze Upata of Upata Kingdom in Ahoada East Local Government Area, Eze Felix Otuwarikpo  has congratulated the newly appointed chairman of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council, HM Eze  Chike Wodo describing him as a beacon of hope for the traditional institution in the state.

A statement by Comrade Oyagiri Monday, the Special Assistant on Media to King Otuwarikpo urged the new chairman to use his tenure to make an impact in the council.

The statement reads:

“On behalf of the people of Úpāta Kingdom, the Ñyê-ïshï Èlé Úpātá Lôwétü Lî Ny’údū Úpātá III, HRM Ny’údū Felix Enene Otuwarikpo, Ph.D, Fnipr extend his heartfelt congratulations to HRM Eze Chike Wodo, DSSRS, JP, Eze Ohna Apara 1V on his appointment as Chairman, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers by His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers State.

As a beacon of hope for traditional leadership, we hope that your leadership  will inspire not only the Council but also the entire state because, traditional rulers can play a significant role in the socio-economic development of any society.

In assuming this important role, it signifies the trust and confidence that His Excellency has placed in your abilities to lead and initiate positive change in the Council.
