Babbe Advancement Forum congratulates Konya on appointment as chair KENPOLY Governing Council

The Babbe Advancement Forum (BAF) has extended its warmest congratulations to Professor Roseline

Konyan, on her  appointment as Chairman of the Governing Council of Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori.

The appointment the group said  is the evidence of Professor Konyan’s exceptional leadership qualities, academic excellence, and dedication to the advancement of education and environmental governance.

Convener and Mr. Benedict Kinakah Co-Convener said Professor Konyan’s remarkable achievements as a university don, former Commissioner of Environment in Rivers State, and proud daughter of Khana, have left an indelible mark on her community, the

state and beyond.

Her commitment to excellence, passion for education, and environmental stewardship have inspired generations, and BAF says it is confident that she will bring her wealth of experience and expertise to bear on her new role.

BAF  says it is convinced that Professor Koyan will revolutionize the Polytechnic, positioning it for greatness and maintaining its lead as one of the premier polytechnics in Nigeria.

“We are optimistic that she will work towards upgrading the Polytechnic to a university, further solidifying its reputation for academic excellence and providing greater opportunities for the youth of Rivers State and beyond.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Governor Siminalayi Fubara for appointing a worthy daughter of Khana as Chairman of the Governing Council. This appointment is a clear demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to excellence and his vision for a better future for Rivers State.

“We pray for Professor Konyan to attain new heights in this role and continue to make us proud. We pledge our support for and cooperation with her  and the Polytechnic, as we work together towards a brighter future for our community”‘, the BAF conveners wrote.
