KENPOLY Rector Assures Students of Improved Welfare, Conducive Learning Environment

‎The newly appointed rector of Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic  Bori, Dr. George Chile Nwadike has assured the students community of improved welfare and a conducive learning environment on campus.

‎The rector stated this during a press briefing at his office in Bori.

‎”We want to ensure that the students study in an atmosphere of peace, curtail the vices that happens here, ”  Nwadike said.

‎He solicited support from past students of the school and well-meaning Rivers people to improve the standard of the school.

‎He added: “Improving on the Polytechnic is simple, we need to meet with persons of high profile  in the society, our alumni, those that graduated from the school to see how they can come in, join hands with us to improve on the system”.

‎The rector also assured graduating students that their results will be made available as at when due, especially   part-time students that have been having  issues of results availability for a couple of years now.

‎On   the issue of cultism on campus, Nwadike said: “We are only doing our best, with the collaboration of the security agencies, we would ensure that anyone found  culpable will be shown the way out (expelled ) of the institution. He further  stated that under his administration, cultisim will be a thing of the past with the help of the security.

‎The rector also disclosed that plans are already on ground to interface with the host community and the Local Government Council to work in synergy with  the management of the Polytechnic to ensure  total peace in and around the school campus.
