Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Dr. Thomas Bariere, has officially endorsed the 7th edition of the annual “MyBori, MyCity” event.
The event, which is hosted annually in Bori by Smith Barinua, a Comedian popularly known as Mr. Teenager, brings together individuals who were born, raised, or have lived in Bori. It serves as a reunion platform for friends and associates, including those who have relocated to different parts of the country and beyond, to reconnect and celebrate their shared heritage.
The programme is traditionally held at Nortem Town Hall, Bori, which remains the venue for this year’s edition.
Since Dr. Thomas Bariere assumed office during his first tenure, the event has witnessed increased participation and a larger audience, largely attributed to the improved security and peaceful environment fostered by his administration, making Bori more conducive and habitable for residents and visitors alike.
This year’s edition is scheduled to hold on Sunday, March 8, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., and is expected to attract a significant turnout.
