Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has suspended the State Commissioner for Works, Mr Kelvin Wachukwu.
A statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media said the suspension is with immediate effect.
The governor directed that the Special Adviser on Special Projects should take over the responsibility of supervising projects in the Ministry in the meantime.
Meanwhile, efforts to get further details on the suspension yielded no fruit at press time.
