Dalung sets up football reconciliation committee to resolve NFF crisis

A reconciliation committee has been set up, to resolve issues within the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), with former NFF boss, Ibrahim Galadima as the head.

Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, has tasked the committee with restoring peace to the Glass House.

This move comes as Chris Giwa continues to challenge the legitimacy of Amaju as NFF president.

The members of the reconciliation committee are: Ibrahim Galadima (chairman) Tijani Yusuf, Bolaji Ojo-Oba, Musa Amadu, Paul Bassey, Okey Obi and Carol Nkem Ojukwu.

“Nigerians are gradually being factionalised into these two camps so you must put the country’s interest above personal interest,” the Minister said.

“You must set aside your sentiments. If we continue like this, where will football be by next year? Can we even qualify for the World Cup?”

The committee has one week to submit its report.
