As the campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State for the April 17th local council polls continues, Vice Chairmanship candidate of the party, Madam Angela Anthony Oju-Kienmie has promised to work in synergy with the Chairmanship candidate, Honourable Enyiada Cookey-Gam to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people and further the ideals of the party.
Madam Oju-Kienmie spoke on the sideline of the campaign flagg-off in Nkoro town.
The Vice Chairmanship candidate used the opportunity to thank stakeholders of the party for giving her the opportunity to serve.
She expressed her willingness to establish a smooth working relationship with the chairmanship candidate to take Opobo/Nkoro to the next level.
Earlier at the flag-off, the Chairmanship Candidate, Honourable Enyiada Cookey-Gam assured the people of his resolve to be the game changer, while thanking the leaders for another opportunity to serve.
He promised to transform all sectors of Opobo/Nkoro local economy, especially agriculture to provide employment opportunities for the teaming Youths.
