A taxi driver, earlier today, was beaten to stupor after he was reportedly seen having sexual intercourse with another man in a toilet at the popular Mile 3 Park in Port Harcourt.
His partner was also heavily beaten by same set of youths.
An eyewitness disclosed that the taxi driver who plies his trade around the Mile 1 and Mile 4 axis of Port Harcourt begged the mob for mercy, lamenting that he was induced by the devil.
Amadi, a driver who spoke to our correspondent and who also confirmed the incident, said youths took the step to serve as deterrent to other gays in the area.
He said the park committee will sit on the matter and recommend an extra punishment for the driver.
Our correspondent reports that a police team on patrol came to the rescue of the driver and his partner.
