Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has appointed Professor Okechukwu Onochukwu as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the state-owned Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.
The appointment was contained in a statement by Wike’s media aide, Kevin Ebiri.
The statement said the decision was in exercise of his powers as Visitor to the school.
Statement added that the appointment takes immediate effect.
